After the entry of smart phones in market,Blackberry lost their position in market and is removing nearly 4500 of its workers.It will be an average of 40% of total workers.

When 312 lakh iPhone smart phones were sold,Blackberry was able to sell only 37 lakh phones.Before 4 years,Blackberry had 51% of smart phones shares in North America.
The last move from blackberry is the launch of blackberry 10 on last January.But the phone was unable to compete with Apple iPhone and Samsung Android smart phones.
The recently launched Blackberry z30 also was unable to make a change in the market.After that they decided to quit 4500 workers.
